Fancy Gap Share New Single “Home Again” Featuring Daniel Womack of Futurebirds
Fancy Gap—singer/songwriter Stuart McLamb (The Love Language) and songwriter/producer Charles Crossingham—have released their new single “Home Again,” featuring a guest vocal from Daniel Womack of Futurebirds. A harmony-rich reflection on memory, place, and the changing nature of the towns we call home, the song balances themes of loss and change with forward momentum and drive.
“Home Again” explores the feeling of returning to familiar ground and realizing it no longer exists in quite the same way. While rooted in reflection, the song keeps moving—mirroring the way cities evolve and life continues forward. Womack’s vocal adds warmth and perspective, deepening the sense of shared experience at the heart of the track.
The release arrives alongside a new music video, which is premiering today via FLOOD. The video leans into moments of joy, movement, and everyday connection, reflecting the song’s balance of nostalgia and motion rather than dwelling in the past.
Fancy Gap’s self-titled debut album was released last year to praise and support from FLOOD Magazine, Indy Week, Big Takeover, Twangville, and Analogue, among others, and was featured on PBS North Carolina’s Shaped By Sound. The album featured additional contributions from Sharon Van Etten, Adam Lazzara (Taking Back Sunday), Will McFarlane, Rami Jaffee, and Jon Graboff. The band has also shared the stage with Old Crow Medicine Show, American Aquarium, Futurebirds, Susto, and more.
