We’re beyond thrilled to share our recent appearance on PBS North Carolina’s Shaped by Sound—a beautifully produced series that spotlights artists making waves across the state.
Filmed at PBS NC’s studios, the episode captures a live set from our full six-piece band and an interview about the roots of Fancy Gap. We talk about the Golden Age of Radio, songwriting as emotional cartography, and why chasing a perfect pop song sometimes feels like crafting the world’s juiciest cheeseburger.
The set includes five songs from our debut album:
-
“Magnolias”
-
“Strawberry Moon”
-
“Starlite Motel”
-
“Sweet Time”
-
“40,000 Miles”
We’re grateful to Matt, Nick, Nathan, and the entire Shaped by Sound crew for bringing this to life. It’s hands-down the best representation of our live show out there—and a moment we’ll hold onto for a long time.
